Hello, Parkway families! I am honored and excited to serve as the principal of Parkway Junior High. After high school, I headed to Texas A&M University and graduated in 2006 … WHOOP! I worked in Bryan ISD and Cy-Fair ISD as a first-grade teacher before finding my way to Magnolia ISD in 2008. Through my years in the district, I’ve served as a teacher, math instructional coach, district math and science specialist, the academic coordinator at Magnolia Intermediate, and the assistant principal at Lyon Elementary.

I am so proud to be a part of the Parkway family.  I automatically fell in love with the students, staff, and community! Together, we will ensure our students reach their greatest potential! Part of what makes MPJH such a wonderful place is the support we receive from our community. 

Karley Hobbs

My name is Karley Hobbs, and I am the Academic Coordinator at Magnolia Parkway Junior High. I have a bachelor's from Sam Houston State University in Interdisciplinary Studies and a master's from Lamar University in Administrative Leadership. I have been in education for 12 years as both a teacher and academic coordinator. I am a product of MISD and am proud to serve in the community I grew up in. I am beyond excited to be a part of MPJH and help make it another excellent campus in Magnolia. 

Katie Simon

I am Katie Simon, and I am thrilled to join the Magnolia Parkway Junior High School team as their school counselor. With twenty-five years of experience in the education field, I have dedicated the past twenty-four years to serving the Magnolia Independent School District. I began my career as a 6th-grade World History teacher, transitioned into elementary special education for two years, and then spent the last twenty-two years as a school counselor at Bear Branch Junior High School.

As a proud graduate of Magnolia High School, I have deep roots in this community. My husband and I are also parents of two children attending Magnolia High School. I am excited about the opportunity to support and guide our students at Magnolia Parkway Junior High as they navigate their academic and personal journeys.
