Lady Panther Basketball
Big win for the Lady Panthers!
All 4 games against Willow Wood were hard fought battles filled with nonstop effort, tough defense, and great teamwork, played all the way to the final buzzer. Outstanding team wins that showcased heart and hustle from start to finish.
Shoutouts:
7th grade: Ella Phillips, Khloe Bryant, Jade P, and Aubree Edwards.
8th grade: Violet Browne, Anna Seale, Catalina Cooper, Ryanne Saldana and Telaysha Carpenter
The Lady Panthers will compete tonight and tomorrow in the Montgomery ISD tournament. Great job against Willow Wood and good luck this weekend!
Panther Basketball
The Panthers took on Willow Wood on Thursday night. In the 7B matchup Dylan Reiter led the team with 8 points and Jeffrey Oldham added 6 points.
Weston Paniagua led the 7A team with 5 points on the night.
In the 8B game Mason Velez led all scorers with 11 points and had a great defensive night.
The 8A team played tough all night but came up short. Johnny Fontyn led all scoring with 10 points and Ryan Mowery added 7 points for the team.

Band
The MPJH Band is proud to share the results from our MISD Junior High Band Solo & Ensemble Contest, which took place on Friday, January 23 at Bear Branch Junior High.
Students could earn ratings ranging from Division 4 (Needs Improvement), Division 3 (Fair), Division 2 (Good), and Division 1 (Excellent), with select Division 1 performers also receiving the Outstanding Musician distinction for being among the top performers in their room.
